Disney is GREAT!

We are having so much fun. Traveling with young children can be trying at times, but the happy times are beating the fits 2.75 to 1 at this point :)

Didn't even feel like Thanksgiving today, but everyone is saying it to everyone! Just like we are all family!! We have had 3 Magic Moments so far... but not the $68,000 dream vacation one...but I have been tickled with every one! Sorry for the red-eye and pics being out of order.
Dinner with the Princesses in Norway @ Epcot
Met Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Mulan, and Ariel

Grant, my nephew, said some funny things on It's a Small World...
Will asked if he liked the ride, "Yeah, but it's kind of annoying"
We were telling them what was coming next, Mexico, the jungle, Holland, and the doors open to this world and Grant says, "And this is heaven." Everything was white..
Just monkeyin' around!

Our friends Tigger & Pooh

Donald selling his Christmas trees.

Watching the show at Cinderella's Castle...Tess weaseled her way through the crowd to get a great view!
Trying on hats in the gift shop!
Castle was beautiful at night!
Michelle found this while waiting in the Dumbo line. Finally a place where she is understood!
No miracle this time around but they all tried to pull the sword in the stone out with all their might! I thouhgt sure Coco would get it!
Day one!

The ride down was so good! Only one fit, 3 naps, and 6 stops!
Plenty of things to keep them busy!
Speaking of busy... We got off the teacups, and Coco said, "That wide made me soo busy!" Oh you mean dizzy?? :)
I'll add more soon!

Went straight in to wash her hands and didn't even say goodbye! Boo Hoo for mommy...

It's been a long time!

Wow it is weird to see that date. Moment of prayer for the families that have suffered!
Well I have missed the entire month of August on this thing, but at least I was busy! Here is some of what has been going on the last month.

The girls always have fun at Dede & Bubba's house! They have a collection of Power Wheels for all eight of the grandkids to fight over. These are Coco and Tess's favorites.

This is Teddy's idea of what to do when the grown-ups aren't looking...Thanks God for Clorox wipes! The rest of the Teddy gallery is some of his usually routines for the day...loafing and getting smothered with attention from the girls.

Tess and Coco started in school. I have to get Coco's pics off the camera still because she just had her official first day on the 3rd of Sept. She is going to preschool 2 days a week and gets to play with sand everyday!! Yeah!

This is Tess's first year of Kindergarten! She is so excited everyday to go to school! She wakes up wondering what she will learn new for the day! After a full day of school, she and Coco need some downtime....

WHAT? They have food and drink!!

I have started selling Pampered Chef products for the fun of it! I was sooo excited to get my apron, and now Tess has one to match. Rachel Ray is her fav and mine too. We are playing kitchen more and more...Dan wishes we would play kitchen everyday! So contact me when you want me to come and cook for you and your friends!! kelly6592@insightbb.com

Dan has taken up running and just ran he first 5 mile stretch all at one time yesterday. He is my inspiration. I guess I will learn to run too now. Updates with the next post!

New Goal!

Well the newness wore off quick. I like doing this blog thing, but I think a realisic goal would be an entry more like once a month or so. Or whenever I feel it necessary. I have been looking frequently at this sight, I think in my mind I expect to see a new post just appear. I forget things all the time, why not a blog entry?

Teddy Nacho Owsley is getting bigger and he is still the best dog ever!! He is perfecting the art of fetching. Tess is getting him to sit, lay down, and "give me paw". She is quite proud of the work she has done.

Teddy the day after we got him @ 3 months, 12 pounds

July 4th, 6 months, approx 40 pounds, helping himself to things off the counter when he thinks no one is looking. We have learned a lot as he grew. He loves to get a hold of the toilet paper rolls. He has found the water in the toilet, so we are learning a new habit of closing the lids and bathroom doors. He has eaten 3 of Coco's socks...that we know of!? He sleeps through the night, loves to ride in the car, and since he foams at the mouth when put in his cage, he has shown he can be a good boy when left alone in the house. He is so lazy!

Starting a new habit, probably will do more in the winter months. Tess and I worked on this together and she had so much fun. Looking forward to doing pages all winter long!! Right now all I want to do is go to the pool! My kids just play so good at the pool.

Chores & Your Trunk

We got a pool membership yesterday!! Yeah! I want to take the kids to the pool everyday. "We are going again tomorrow," I said to Dan. His reply was less than ecstatic. "What would you rather me stay home and do chores?" Of course that sounds like a better idea for the love of my life, who suffers from a phobia of the piles of clutter that decorates our house.

Today I felt so productive yet child-like. Damn I'm back to "do your work and then you can play." But I guess I should finally learn this so I can teach my kids. We cleaned the house this morning and went to the grocery before we went to the pool. I WILL make it to the pool as often as possible, so I guess our house will be in pretty good shape this summer! Girl knows how to compromise!

On a different note. As I visited my grandfather at the assisted living home on Wed., I witnessed a comical scene. I arrived just in time to see my grandfather walking to the activity room for "Old Advertisements". The activity director reads a slogan from a TV ad (Good to the last Drop) and the residents guess the brand (Maxwell House Coffee). She came to one that she didn't remember about putting something on your trunk to soothe. She asked the residents if they knew which part of your body was the trunk. They contemplated and discussed it with each other and decided it was the top of the head to the waist (almost right). Just then a younger woman, maybe 60s, in the back said, "No, no, no. Don't you watch TV. Those men on TV are always saying "look at all that junk in her trunk"...it's you backside!" She insisted despite comments to the contrary. All I could do was smile and laugh hysterically in my mind.

Pause the music player at the end of the page so you can appreciate the video.

All About Willy

Since my friend Elizabeth got me started on this blog thing, it is becoming increasingly more addictive. Today I started to tell people that I know about my new found hobby (a.k.a. waste of time I should be devoting to laundry and housework!).

My brother asked if he was on there. Well, no. Don't we spend enough time getting our children together?? "Oh, I see how it is," he said. Soooo since I always want to get the last word in....
A few words about my brother Willy, Will, whatever.

He knows how to treat the ladies!

He's a poser.

He sets a good example for the kids.

He loves the babies, but wishes this was a girl of his own.

He can make the best of a dirty situation. (Super cool Pirate Room at the dirty swingers hotel in Florence, KY that I booked for us on the internet)

The only man that Coco cuddles with besides her Daddy.

The only one of my siblings that's made a male Dierking thus far.

He thinks that these kind of hand gestures are important to distract the audience from your voice when doing karaoke. Might I also suggest buying them another round!?

Again, poser!

He's not afraid of a lil' o' shark, when he's squeezing the shit out of it and clinching his teeth saying, "Take the f**king picture," with a smile.

This was fun. Will just let me know when your feeling left out again!!!! LOL!!!

Love you forever Bro!!
